    IRCO provides culturally and linguistically specific business and economic development services for Refugee and Immigrant businesses in the Portland Metropolitan Areas. Current technical assistance work includes providing economic development and sustainability, microenterprise business planning, financial literacy and business trainings, e-commerce development and implementation, microloan and/or microgrant applications, individual development accounts (IDAs) cash match applications, business technical assistance, and outreach and case management supports aligned with our culturally specific community development, business development, and employment/training programs for Refugee and Immigrant businesses.

  • With vast experience across government and industries at all levels, Black American Chamber of Commerce delivers services with cultural and professional competency gained from working within the Black community nationwide.

    I am a Microenterprise Specialist with IRCO. I am passionate about small business and advocacy for underserved populations especially survivors or domestic violence, Immigrants, & Refugees. I am also an entrepreneur myself and own a small interior design business.

    The thing I love the most about my job is coaching and encouraging small business owners as they learn the many ups and downs of entrepreneurship. It's also a lot of fun to accompany clients though the process of making their dreams a reality!
